Re: February update for the Fedora / Audinux packages repository

ycollette Thank you for your work Yann! The Audinux repo is quite remarkable--it has almost everything one could want. I hope you continue to share repo updates on the LMF because Audinux needs more visibility. I have been using the lqx kernel and just saw the warning on your website. Is there any ...

Re: MOD Desktop

This is pretty fun.

How does one point the NAM device to *.nam files? I can't find an option or any docs about it.

Re: Some new Demos with AVL Drumkits

Belated thanks for sharing these Glen. I'm sporadic on the forum and miss so many posts, glad I caught this one. I don't find good songs depressing. These are all solid. It's so challenging writing about topical things, and these do it in a very effective, honest and non-didactic way. It's a rough w...

Re: Stereo mixing

( one of my favorite tracks, you can sue me for bad taste all you want, I love it. ) Nothing to add to all the helpful replies, but as a lad I bought the 12" when it first came out. On the B side it had a cover of Bowie's "Heroes" with Robert Fripp on guitar. I think that albu...

Re: "Become a rockstar using FOSS!" @ FOSDEM 2023

Very nice presentation, well done! It must have been a challenge to give this talk to many non-musicians but you did a great job of delivering lots of info in a short amount of time.

If you do it again I hope you include more of your music as an example of the objective.

Re: master_me

Hey LAM, finally played around with Master_Me for a bit today. I know you suggest on your Github page that it's not designed for music but you could have fooled me. It's quite usable and I'm bumping this thread since there's no other discussion of on the LMF that I could find. Anybody here looking f...

So sorry to hear it G. Sadie was a star in those videos!

It's crushing to lose a beloved pet at any age. They go through it all with us. Peace to you and the family.

Congrats Glen! Checked out AVL 21.2.1 last night (poked around for about an hour, everything was easy just like I like) and MXDE-EFL is up next. Hats off to you for all your work! Kudos as well for being responsive to the whining I mean feedback. I remember years ago reading some advice for b...

Re: Decent Sampler ( deletes the DecentSampler preset file )

Didn't see your original post but I've been having the same issue so thanks for sharing the update.

It's a good plugin, so many of the sounds available are truly unique and it's ridiculously easy to use.

Re: CCR - Albert Hall Concert film finally released!

This looks so good, thanks for sharing! CCR songs are simple and to the point, but the energy of the performances, the lyrics and melodies are timeless. After listening to the preview, it's really, really hard not making unfair, ignorant old man statements about the incredibly boring and flaccid ove...
