Re: stable VST sound library for Debian-Linux
hi there! @brummer thanks, i have heard some sounds and they seems to be good enough. now the next question: how can i make a real sound library of the singly mp3-sounds? i mean: how can i take all the violin-sounds in one gig to use it in linuxsampler? or as sfz (whatever linuxsampler can play)? @v...

Re: stable VST sound library for Debian-Linux
hi there :D thanks for your proposals! @emarsk so, it mustn´t be a VST but it has to be professionel. i know the sonatina + salamander libraries and worked a short time with them. but it´s only semiprofessional / amateur for me. @brummer (hi again) / slowpick i will try this the next days, many than...

stable VST sound library for Debian-Linux
Hi there I am searching for a professional orchestra sound library. Mostly, it´s a VST library you can buy. Does anybody have experience with a special VST sound library (orchestra and/or piano) that runs fine under Linux? With fst or whatever? Or is the best to work with wine? I mean: take a window...

Re: Anyone use din (din is noise)?
well, i worked with din a short time. but i use debian squeeze and compiled din with ./configure ...
it never crashed. perhaps you can try to compile din instead of using the packages?

Re: rt-kernel debioan squeeze 64-bit
now i added a 2.6.39.4-32-bit-rt kernel for debian to my wuala account. it was only short tested, so use at your own "risk".

Re: how can i make a youtube video from an mp3?
i found another program that works better on debian than open shot. it´s kdenlive. on debian open shot won´t export the video, only the sound. it semms to be a bug. kdenlive works fine, i can import sounds and video as i wanted to. my next videotutorial about the "midi and organ-synth aeolus&qu...

Re: Debian Squeeze 64-bit HowTo in german
the translation is ok but there is one point false at the beginning: This is an Express installation of a sound studio for a quick howto on Debian 64-bit squeeze in 3 steps 1. Ubuntu reinstall 2. low latency make 3. Install the software. well, ubuntu is really wrong because you need to install debia...

Re: Debian Squeeze 64-bit HowTo in german
Yes, this is a good idea. I wanted to translate for the official Debian-Wiki (english) so far, but why not for LinuxMusicians, too?
