Re: Track management in Ardour...

Having the possibility to add effects to clips would be great, i'm on this one too. For the rest i guess I'm not used to do this much processing on single leads

Re: Track management in Ardour...

Why not simply record a bus to a track if you have to bounce? Export just the bus output to one file? Then you can do whatever you want to it. Also, you can do automation on a bus..i can't really see the problem here.

Re: Track management in Ardour...

you can do this with a bus once again..and I suggest to consider using track templates.

Hi, I'm interested in this too. Did you try all input/output on the card (even the SPDIF ones)? Do you see everything in alsamixer?

Re: New GxRectifier.lv2

I'm a bass player and I'd love to have an ampeg SVT CL simulation...or at least something more bass-oriented.

Re: Setting multiple audio interfaces with Jack2 (help!)

I used to do this but the clock between the 2 cards used to shift after some time causing glitching so I stopped. I wouldn't reccomend it

Re: Optimizing bass guitar?

Personally, I would compress sightly the signal before going into the interface - better peaks control and impedance matching.

Re: Any good bass amp emulators?

I'm using the C*AmpVST plugin and it's really nice; usually i mix it with the DI signal and eventually add some cabinet emulation. Calf compressor if needed.

Re: Scarlett 2i2

sorry for the delay, been busy. I think this could be a kernell issue; I suggest you to try kernel 3.5.xx and see if it gets better.
