new dronings
Hey guys! In case someone is not signed up to the LAU mailing list - a new batch completed and uploaded (droning159-169). Very diverse tunes this time, from arpeggios to quiet dull drones to rhythmic textures. Some evil sounding dark ambient in there as well. Big thanks to my friend Ulin, who helped...

Re: Are there Old Linux News?
Just in case my statement was understood only as a joke, I will note that what I mean is that the phrase "new linux news" is not grammatically correct - you should not have the word "new" there, since "news" already means it is "new"!

Re: Giada live looper
Haha!
Yeah, I saw that post yesterday. Still, it's not that Giada is a popular tool atm anyway. One more shout might help!
Btw, anything else I am missing? Maybe I don't know and there is a DAW out there that does it all?

Re: Check out my new API for instruments(free demo synth)
At the end of the day, if I put out a collection of the greatest synthesizers, samplers and effects that Linux has ever seen, users aren't going to care if it's DSSI or LV2 under the hood. Re: MidiLoops - aleatoric midi sequencer
Guys, fixed a bug (stack overflow due to infinite loop), plus added a couple of global controls and did some minor adjustments, like going for seconds instead of milliseconds in GUI. Same link, do re-download!

MidiLoops - aleatoric midi sequencer
http://www.louigiverona.ru/images/midiloops.png What is it good for? For ambient soundscapes as well as for thoughtful melodic passages. Particularly good to trigger sound effects and thus create a variable, naturally sounding landscape of ambience. What does it do? The idea is quite simple - you g...
