It was definitely listed for Linux earlier, looks like they've updated the page since I posted!

Oh well, guess I'll have to keep waiting for this one. :(

Circle2

According to its entry at KVR, Circle2 is available for LInux http://www.kvraudio.com/product/circle-by-future-audio-workshop-faw However the download link just leads to the usual Windows/Mac downloads. Anyone know where to get the Linux download? It's always intrigued since it was released and woul...

Re: overflowed by spam bots

On my forum I run, I have a random Q&A during registration (i.e. what is the colour of the banner at the top of the page, or some such thing), and also set the moderation so the first post from a new user needs to be approved. It means a user might have to wait a while before their post is visib...

GVST plugins

Just found a bunch of plugins that have recently been ported to Linux: http://www.gvst.co.uk/downloads.htm I haven't tried them yet (got some computer problems to overcome!), but they look like a fairly comprehensive package, similar to the MDA plugins, including a couple of monosynths). Linux downl...

Re: Searching for Plugins

Compared to LADSPA & LV2, there aren't that many DSSI plugins around (see here for a list http://dssi.sourceforge.net/)

As you're using QTractor, why not use LV2 and/or Linux VST plugins? You'll have more to choose from.

Re: Discussion about Cakewalk X3 Producer native on Linux -

The mail I woke up to this morning from Bitwig says they will announce the release date/price at the January NAMM show, so I guess it's not too far off now.

Thanks - I probably won't be able to do a recording for a day or two, but will get to it as soon as I can.

TAL Dub-3 strange behaviour

Not sure where the best place to report this, so I thought I'd try here first. I've been getting strange results when trying to use TAL- Dub 3 (VST) delay in Renoise on AV Linux 6.01. The best way of describing it is it sounds like the sample rate is being abused. The delay doesn't come through prop...

Re: OpenAV Productions: Sorcer

Regarding the plugins not doing presets, when I use the SynthV1 LV2, it has built in preset loading/saving functionality. Is that some little cheat that Rui has got up his sleeve? :)

Re: OpenAV Productions: Sorcer

This is my first venture into LV2 plugins, so excuse the daft question!

I must be missing something totally obvious, but how do you load a preset? I'm trying to use Sorcer in QTractor, which loads the plugin fine, but I can't see how you load a preset. Someone please enlighten me!

Re: Tracktion 4 Linux open beta avaiable

I've clicked around a bit but got quite annoyed by the tooltips popping up every time. And the Juce GUI seems a bit rough on the edges. Seems to work well with JACK though. Other than that, great that there's another alternative becoming available! Those tooltips can be switched off from what I rem...
