Re: Open Source Music Nexus Challenge Discussion

I just personally think it'd be bad publicity for libre audio if the winner used Bitwig Studio or REAPER. But that's my opinion, it does not mean anything. I see it first and foremost as a challenge to myself. I will make a piece of music within the given rules, and I will only use free and open so...

Re: No one should ever bother with bridging ALSA and JACK.

For years now I am just using my good sound card for jack and my internal mainboard sound for ALSA. Both are routed into an analogue mixer.

No pulse, no bridges, no pain. Just works.

Software and tools to better understand and appreciate music?

Hello, suppose you have discovered a new musical piece, and it turns out you like it. I am looking for software that can help to answer the question: What makes this music good? Re: Not great news... AV Linux Forum shutting down September 1st

Other than that I can't say for sure, an AVL subforum was very kindly offered here but unfortunately I would need to moderate it and that brings up the same time crunch issue that my own forum faced. it is a bit better than you think: Moderation in form of removing spam, hateful people is done by a...
