Re: Can someone change my username, please?
New here. Signed up some time ago, but never actually used the forums, and just forgot about the site, until I figured I wanted to come back. My username sucks, and I will never remember it. Can an admin please change it to " Yuki_thePenguin ", please? Sucks also, but I might just remembe...

Re: Header
Ah, there's an L there! That's one disadvantage of using your own color scheme: Heh. There is a 'dark' version of the logo at https://linuxmusicians.com/styles/prosilver_dark/theme/images/logo.png but I'm not sure you can apply that to your own color scheme... the "prosilver dark" theme h...

Re: Header
Has it always been that when you are not logged in "phpBB" and when you are logged in "LM" is displayed? I think it would be better if always "LM" is displayed, in my opinion, it was also so in the past. LM-2.png LM-1.png Ah, thanks for the ping, this probably broke wh...

Re: Nice article on Flatpak, Snap, AppImage, Docker and Steam
While i agree none of those projects are perfect, I think it's important research&development progress. Part of what makes this hard is that we are trying to reconcile conflicting goals: on the one hand it's silly when each application comes with its own copy of each library, on the other hand s...

Re: What makes Jazz, jazz
Then something called: The Best of Funky Jazz Groove Music And here comes James Brown. Unless Funk = Jazz, I smell click-bait. Well, the problem is it's genres, and lines are blurry. I can definitely see a sliding scale from 'jazz' to 'funky jazz' to 'funk' - Maceo Parker (sax player in James Brown...

Re: MOD Insolvency and Reboot
@raboof: I don't post a lot, but I am feeling really uncomfortableto seeing how the clown's messages are allowed and others are deleted. TBH I don't think that's accurate - I mostly only delete posts by 'others' when they are a reply on a post that I also deleted, and provide no further content tha...

Re: Script interpreter licensing issues
Gut reaction is "lol no" but I'm wondering if there's a point to be made regarding those who want to write scripts and then distribute them. I'm not familiar enough with bipscript to say anything with confidence, but in general I don't see how that would be a problem: it is very possible ...
