Getting Audacity to work with Jack.

I'm using puppy Linux Slackware, slackware 14.1 compatible. So how can I get Audacity to work with jack and record with ...

Rosegarden & Jack issues!

I installed Fedora KDE and then installed Rosegarden & jack and some other music production software. First I got no sound when Jack is running. All youtube videos just freeze also. And then some software synthesizers initially got MIDI signal, then it stopped working. Also it seemed like Rosega...

Re: Fedora Linux for music production.

Has anyone tried Fedora with the LXDE or LXQT GUI for music production? If so how is the experience?

Are they faster than cinnamon?

Do they work well, can one easily install CCRMA on all these "spins"?

Do they all have gui software for installing new apps and software?

Re: Fedora Linux for music production.

Is it easy ti install the CCRMA package? Does one install it after one has installed the Fedora OS?

Did you notice any differences in Audio quality? Was it easy to run linuxsampler, rosegarden, audacity and the like?

Why did you switch to Mint and then Xubuntu?

Is it as easy to install and run audio software (jack, rosegarden, linuxsampler)? Is there an audio ...
