Re: Behringer BCA2000 anyone?
Think you are right guys, it shows no sign of being class compliant, and there are no signs of the driver in the kernel. Thanks for the info Kott, I have been trying to understand how to put a driver into a kernel, had not realized the one I had is a fork and have now downloaded the original.. Might...

Re: Behringer BCA2000 anyone?
Thank you Scott.. Reinstalling Ubuntu Studio did not get me anywhere, I had just been reading about usb class-compliant devices, lucky me that Behringer release three similar devices and my one is the only one that does not work out of the box.. sigh So, seems getting this driver in is the only way?...

Behringer BCA2000 anyone?
Hi all.. I have ended up with a Behringer BCA2000, looks like a funky usb soundcard but it was not immediately recognized in UBUNTU Studio 20.04. $ lsub shows the device as present but nothing else in the system can see a soundcard. I have spent a lot of time trying to find out how to assign this de...

Re: New KXStudio Repositories
Hi rncb.. Certainly feels like I had a roasting for asking, but will risk it again.. Fresh install of Ubuntu Studio, so no existing KXstudio repos.. On installing the kxstudio-repos_10.0.2_all.deb file I cannot install any kxstudio lv2, diss or vst plugins through my synaptics manager, I used to be ...

Re: New KXStudio Repositories
Hi.. Been out of the audio game for the past few months, have jumped back in with a fresh install of Ubuntu Studio (18.04), have gone to install the KXstudio repositories and.. :? , the 2 files I normally download (9.5.1) are missing and the current file on the KXstudio site is version 10, but no gc...

Re: Help.. Nvidia GPU trumps my soundcard..

Hi All.. Tried KXstudio a year ago, could not get any sound out if it so ended up with Linux Mint.. Fast forward to today and I took the plunge again and now have KXstudio on my system again, and again.. no sound.. Refused to give up this time and I think I have finally narrowed it down to my Nvidia...
