New goa track (Renoise / Linux)
Hello again. Here is my latest (and best) track so far. Made on linux with great plugins: Vember Surge, Tal NoiseMaker, Gvst, DragonflyHallReverb, MVerb, LoudMax, Luftikus... Male vocal talking rubbish is me talking some nonsense while recording it on crappy android phone in toilet  https://you...

Free Tracktion waveform 10 with Computer Music 274
I don't know if anyone is interested in Tracktion products, but if you get your hands on new issue of Computer Music magazine you get Tracktion Waveform 10 for free. I downloaded linux version and it works on my lubuntu system. It doesn't support LV2 so you will need Carla. VST support is excellent ...

Re: New Goa trance track (Ardour)
I'm glad you liked it guys :D It probably is harsh at highs. And there are a lot of other problems too... But I am bored with mastering side of music making. I just make essential work with filtering and that's it for mastering  Since I don't want to release or sell my tracks it's fine. I just ...

Re: New Goa trance track (Ardour)
Thank you so much for Dragonfly reverb, it is excellent.
In the past I put the reverb signal trough the chorus or vibrato and then trough the reverb to get the modulated reverb sound. But with dragonfly reverb all that is a lot easier, and it sounds great!

Re: Made a GOA track using linux
Thanks guys! I was surprised how stable the whole process was with using carla and tracktion. Only thing I had to do is compile latest calf plugins because old ones in debian repos couldn't be closed once opened in tracktion carla.

Made a GOA track using linux
I make music to relax after work, and this is my first one using linux!
It is maybe over compressed and too bass heavy but I like it that way
