Re: Sonarworks headphone & speaker calibration software.
so, when I emailed support to point out that the linux vst is missing, they emailed me a link to 4.4.7.40
https://support.sonarworks.com/attachme ... .40.tar.gz
I do hope they keep developing it.

Re: Sonarworks headphone & speaker calibration software.
"As for Linux support, we are not looking to add Linux for Reference 4 nor do we intend to stop releasing the Linux plug-in" There's a double negative here, so i think it means: Linux for Reference 4 = No Linux Plugin = Yes but i could be wrong. Funnily, there is no reference to this any ...

Free: Biotek 1 VST from Tracktion
Biotek is a great Workstation synth, but I'm mainly switching to using internal Bitwig so I don't need it any more. Rather than have it gather virtual dust, I want to give it away to the first person to PM me. You need to have a Tracktion account and send me the email attached to the account. If you...

Re: Basic Scripting Question
Hi Tavasti, hi Drumfix, Thanks. both of your solutions worked - except for one thing My system has started naming the virtual midi devices differently since last time I was playing with this script (I don't undestand why). Now the virtual midi device is named "Virtual Raw MIDI 2-0", instea...

Re: Basic Scripting Question
Hi, thanks for your help, but these suggestions did not work @spotlight kid: adding double quotes doesn't make the connection prints out nohup: appending output to 'nohup.out' invalid destination address [1]+ Done nohup xjadeo -d alsa-seq -m alsa-seq @tavasti: aconnect -o | grep xjadeo prints out cl...

Re: Basic Scripting Question
Hi, I made some progress. But I'm stuck. The commands work if I type them in manually to the terminal, but it doesn't work when I run the script in the terminal. aconnect throws out generic -help information when I run the scrip in the terminal. Here is the script: sudo modprobe snd-virmidi midi_dev...

Basic Scripting Question
I'm trying to make a script and would appreciate some help. I'm really new to this kind of thing Basically I am doing some scoring in Bitwig with xjadeo I can manually set it up but I would like to start to understand scripting and save a little time. The process I want to automate is this: Open xja...

Re: KXStudio Status.
I just went back to Ubuntu Studio 18.10
The Ubuntu Studio Controls app manages Jack better than anything I have seen. Its also very fast, responsive.
I can recommend it.

Re: A good jack-compatible audio player who stays connected to the outputs I want?
Going to Jack Settings in Cadence, Claudia or Catia you can choose a "Self Connect Mode". There you can "fail all self connect requests". I was able to make smplayer "stick" to specified ports that way.
