Re: [LAA] Mamba - Virtual Midi keyboard for Jack Audio Connection Kit release 1.4

Maybe I did not find latest: libsmf seems completely dead. Last release was 2013 and there are some forks on github not exactly active. What scares me a bit:
A fancy, useful and progressing project as mamba depends on a dead library? Just a question - have no problem (yet).

Re: MusE 3.1 released

Now I think it's ok. It occurred to me that I likely only had done 'git push --tags', did a standard push now and it looks like it worked.
Yes indeed: Now the commit is on master.

Thanks for this and the new release - will fire up my build machine now :)

Re: MusE 3.1 released

For the reason that github rebuilds tarballs from time to time and changes checksums Yocto forces me to load sources by git. The release announcement says the commit ID of 3.1 is 50f4b71eab801aa49f35b66fdfdca9ab02e08238 but that does not seem available. Have fetched latest sources but same 50f4b71ea...

Re: Guitarix 0.38.0 released

Hi,

In your announcement there was FreeBSD mentioned so I thought why not musl [1]: With the patch attached they can build guitarix for musl. Sorry for attaching here but I do not plan to subscribe to sourceforge.

Re: GxPlugins.lv2 release v0.6

Agreed fully: mod is an option and LV2 issues turned into right direction. So I took some time to build GxPlugins.lv2 and did some quick runtime tests: Looks very good. One thing: To make GxPlugins.lv2 build cross with Openembedded/Yocto I had to create a huge patch. That is some brute force / quick...

Re: GxPlugins.lv2 release v0.6

And another one: glanced the screen shots: they look bit mod-guish to me. As far as I remember: mod-gui is about webkit based plugin GUIs. If both so: a browser engine for... a plugin GUI - really??? That performing acceptable on Raspi while rendering audio? Nothing to expect. So do GxPlugins.lv2's ...

off-topic - but...
So fixing is definitely others people duty :)
1. One of the more fun typos (?): I knew there has to be an 's' somewhere..
2. The smile should be more a \o/

Re: GxPlugins.lv2 release v0.6

To be compatible for upcoming lv2 I bet something like [1] is required for GxPlugins.lv2. Unfortunately I haven't GxPlugins.lv2 in my Raspi builds yet - if so there would be a pull request to fix... Just thought: was on my TODO anyway for long time to get GxPlugins.lv2 on Raspi - so why not just do...

Re: GxPlugins.lv2 release v0.6

Recent KXStudio builds lv2 1.15.5+git20181224v5 from git (the upcoming release of lv2). On the way lv2 1.14 (stable) -> 1.15 (future) two things were changed causing trouble in some projects: * lv2-core.pc (for pkg-config) was removed -> lv2.pc is good enough * layout of include headers was modified...

AArgh - I hate disturbing the party but trying to build suil 0.10.2 I get for Openemebedded build (upgraded from 0.10.0 which built fine): | [ 9/19] Linking ../build/libsuil_x11_in_gtk2.so | [10/19] Compiling src/cocoa_in_qt5.mm | arm-mortsgna-linux-gnueabi-g++: error: ../suil-0.10.2/src/cocoa_in_qt...

Ah - that is a helpful information. So it seems I did something wrong in my builds because I had no GUI. Will try DPF-Plugins and see how far I get.

Re: DPF-Plugins and DISTRHO-Ports update

Thanks a lot for spending much time in so many projects. DISTRHO-Ports is a treasure chest! Related DPF-Plugins: In the past I had Nekobi standalone in my RaspberryPi images but removed it because: * I had no modgui client. The only solution I found was a project of yours (think it was some modgui -...

Only those with a GUI on the website have one: http://ssj71.github.io/infamousPlugins/plugs.html
Just checked on Raspi: Get GUIs as expected so my build seems fine - thanks for helpful information

Re: Infamous Plugins v0.2.04 Even Closer to Optimal

First post here: Hi. I am a moron that is obsessed by crossbuilding images with Openembedded/Yocto for RasPi and have added Infamous Plugins to my image. This is way off from typical environment so I have to expect errors others don't have. So my question here: Had a quick test (had never seen Infam...
