Re: FAWM (February Album Writing Month)

Jazz Chart written in Musescore

About a week ago, I taught myself how to use the Musescore notation editor, & I started writing a few jazz charts.

Earlier today, I finished one of these charts, & I put it online for anyone to listen or download the score.

I'd love to hear any feedback y'all have on it. :)

Thanks.

Re: I released my self-titled album today!

Certainly not the last time I shall listen to the album. ... Thanks for making this available. Wow, thanks! I'm glad this has earned multiple listens. :) The sarcasm seems to help freedom, in fact, because with an ironic undertone, you can allow yourself liberties that a 'serious artist' will have ...

Re: I released my self-titled album today!

Just an observation but it sounds like some of the songs could be sung an octave up to give the vocals a bit more expression and put them in a different sonic space in the mix, perhaps singing in a lower register was a stylistic choice on your part. In the future you might consider playing around w...

Hello from Wisconsin, USA.

It appears to be commonplace here to introduce your location in the subject line, so I suppose I'll do so too. :P My name is Mark! Silver (the exclaimation point is silent). I've been making music digitally as far back as 2012, but I first got into Linux in January 2016 with a little run at Ubuntu. ...
