Yeah, it works OK with a cable.
So I am now recording a new song using Yoshimi.
Of course I would like to know what is going on behind the scene so I can use other plugins later.

So I started reading Qtractor .pdf manual, and saw that a plugin called Yoshimi is used as a example. So I created a new session, and a MIDI track in it, and added Yoshimi as a plugin and... Voila! I got sound. It goes out through my laptop speakers, but this is a progress. I will try now to see if ...

In another track I have loaded sfizz and loaded a soundfont called "pick_bass" that I saw posted around here.
I set volume to 64 and pan to 64.
I click on the virtual keyboard in the lower part of sfizz and no sound, not on the speakers, not on the mixer.

I am surely missing something.
