OpenDCP and DCP-o-matic
Hi there! I try to compile OpenDCP on Kubuntu 16.04/kxStudio and I struggle. Would it be possible to include OpenDCP in kxStudio in the future? It is quite old and needs some quirks to compile on 16.04. And perhaps DCP-o-matic, but the latter at least offers a 16.04 and 18.04 deb package, so it's no...

Somehow getting wrong Ardour from wrong repo
Hi there, for some miracoulous reasons, I get Ardour 4.6 (1:4.6~dfsg-1) instead of now-current 5.12 (which should be 1:5.12+~kxstudio something). I installed Kubuntu 16.04 and added the PPAs but something weird must have happened. I removed all stuff from /etc/apt.d/sources.list.d, did apt-get updat...

Re: kxStudio: Autostart cmd line tool with LADISH/Jack startup?
Thank you very much, falkTX. I managed to write a script that does the job. I put another script in $HOME/.kde/Autostart that starts the first one with nohup. Now I need to auto-start and auto-wire jack on the receiver side, which is based in SliTaz Linux. (I already have posted to their forum, sinc...

kxStudio: Autostart cmd line tool with LADISH/Jack startup?
Hi there, I use kxStudio and I'm very happy with it. I have two users, one for recording, which happens directly at my box in the studio room. And another one for office work, which I mostly use via an XDMCP terminal located in my home office. But what would work be without good music? Hence I route...

Re: KXStudio installs the installation window disappears
I'm afraid I'm jangling your nerves with this, but… any news on the new 32bit ISO?

Re: KXStudio installs the installation window disappears
For now you can install UbuntuStudio and then put the kxstudio stuff on top. Is there some kind of manual for doing this? I installed 64bit kxstudio and I enjoy it. However, I'm one of these crazy folks using WindowsVSTs and I have trouble getting them to work on 64bit. It would be great to have a ...

Re: KXStudio installs the installation window disappears
I think I'm having the same issue on a AMD Phenom II. Also no UEFI. Unfortunately I have some reasons for sticking to 32bit at least for a while.
Is there a workaround or something else so that I can get the installer to work?
