GSI VB3 II
I recently wrote to GSI developer Guido Scognamiglio about the possibility for a Linux version of the JUCE-based standalone app of the VB3 II, and his reply seemed encouraging, if not definitive. Pianoteq, which is also a JUCE-based app, is distributed for Mac, Windows, Linux and ARM, so we'll see--

Bitwig Studio - Frustrated by (lack of) Inter-App Routing
I'm impressed with Bitwig Studio in general, but frustrated with the seeming difficulty or impossibility of routing audio and MIDI between (to or from) Bitwig and other apps. When Bitwig is configured to use JACK as its audio engine, it exports no audio or MIDI inputs to JACK and QjackCtl's Connecti...

GMlab.it D9-X -- Hammond Clonewheel MIDI drawbars
-- D9-X MIDI drawbar controller This device (from https://GMlab.it/) works well with the MIDI-learn features of various Hammond B3 clonewheel (tonewheel clone) virtual organs that work in Linux, such as SetBfree and CollaB3, both the standalone apps and DAW plugins (including of Bitwig Studio's Orga...

MIDIhub - Programmable MIDI Interface
This device looks promising. It's a 4-in, 4-out MIDI interface with internal firmware programmable for many types of MIDI routing, filtering, convolutions and transformations of MIDI data, using a configuration/editor app that is available for Windows, Mac and Linux , which burns the desired configu...

Re: Latin Percussion track for instrumental cue
Ok. Could you perhaps give some reference for the direction your thinking about? Many styles off latin. Well, I'm guessing that any percussionist would have his own ideas, technique and preferred or personal style, similar to keyboard players such as myself. So I think I'm more interested in what a...

Re: Latin Percussion track for instrumental cue
Nice part. I would love to. But i don't know if i get to it as i am busy changing some parts of my system and already lack time. I am willing to give it a try if i can get to it. Still open for others to jump in on it. If you need it quick you need to find someone else. Like Michael Willis asked. P...
