Re: Guitarix.vst v0.3 Release
Click the + to open a new module. There is now Neural menu option, so use that to choose the desired version. You'll want separate folders to keep the downloaded .nam and .aidax gear separate, and use the gui's browser widgets to find your saved items. Some come with dozens of files, so subfolders ...

Re: Guitarix.vst v0.3 Release
New in this release: Add support for RTNeural network engine Allow to load two instances of the neural modules Add NAM and RTNeural Multi module (Load two models and blend between them) To be able to use NAM, we need to download and install this LV2 stuff to be able to use it? Or is it integrated i...

Re: Neural Amp Modeler LV2 GUI
Plus, I can't figure out how to get this seen in Guitarix vst. I've seen screenshots of people who were able to... but doesn't show up in any menu right here. I downloaded that latest guitarix vst version. https://github.com/brummer10/guitarix.vst/releases I'm quite a n00b in working with command li...

Re: Neural Amp Modeler LV2 GUI
I managed to create the .so file. The Neural Amp Modeler is found in Reaper, however not with the GUI. Don't know exactly how to get this GUI. Tried to figure out this: make install # will install into ~/.lv2 ... AND/OR.... sudo make install # will install into /usr/lib/lv2 But it's not that clear t...

Re: Guitarix.vst v0.1 released
I read about a Flatpak version too, which isn't updated anymore since 2 years, don't know if that's a legit version as the page shows "potentially unsafe". https://flathub.org/apps/org.guitarix.Guitarix Anyway, can't use that neither as it funtions with JACK. It should be available via ALS...

Re: Guitarix.vst v0.1 released
I tested the previous version last year, which sounded great : However, I couldn't directly find my way in it, unless with the existing presets. There's just too much under the hood, too much trees in this forest! And I mostly don't know which order to place all the panes and effects, the direction ...

Re: Neural Amp Modeler LV2 GUI
The NAM-LV2 repo Hmm, I'm a n00b in this... but I wasn't able to make this build, following the readme. I followed all the steps there, but then I got errors in my terminal: CMake Warning: No source or binary directory provided. Both will be assumed to be the same as the current working directory, ...

Re: EZDrummer alternative?
I currently use the AVL Drumkits For some reason I use all the available kits at once, playing simultaneously together. It gives a me a more full warm sound. I'd love to use Hydrogen, never tried,... but it seems it's not possible to use in-DAW like a VST. So you can export to WAV and put that in yo...

Open source and made with JUCE, so it "could" work on Linux.
Awesome

Text to Synth
We already know text to speech .... but yesterday I came across Text To Synth. A software that generates a synth based on a text description. https://fadr.com/synthgpt Alas, it's not open source, and it's paid... But maybe there are alternatives already for Linux? Or maybe under devolopment already?...

Re: [Ambient] Dreamy Electronics
It'll be something for later when I have more time. I'm currently quite busy with learning this Surge XT synth, which is already a beast... But I don't have any understanding from modular things. the VCV Rack looks something nice too, but Bespoke looks a step more complicated. When I'm ready for thi...

Re: [Ambient] Dreamy Electronics
Very interesting!!
Wished I could work with Bespoke too... but it seems so complex at first sight.
