Re: How do I get rid of the high-pass filter in Pulseaudio

Thanks again guys! ~/.config/pulse/default.pa is already amended to set up the jack sink with 2 channels as described. I guess I need to go with the manual sink configuration instead of letting Cadence handle it. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PulseAudio/Examples#PulseAudio_through_JACK The wa...

Re: How do I get rid of the high-pass filter in Pulseaudio

Thanks for the reply guys! Not using Pulseaudio at all is what I did for years, but more and more programs do not work without it. The main reasons for me to not kick Pulseaudio are Firefox and Skype. I was quite chuffed initially when after upgrading to 16.04 everything just worked, until I noticed...

How do I get rid of the high-pass filter in Pulseaudio

When anything goes through PulseAudio, the audio is high-passed in my monitors. Re: Xubuntu 14.04 + KXStudio - Jack auto-start issue

Thanks Baz, but I would actually go ahead and suggest other people to install 14.04 with KXStudio repos. All in all I had far less problems getting it to run than the 12.04.03 ISO install, even on the laptop with Nvidia chip. No nomodset boot option required to get straight to a boot screen, dual mo...

Xubuntu 14.04 + KXStudio - Jack auto-start issue

Got myself a new dektop recently and thought I'd give Xubuntu 14.04 to KXStudio repos a whirl, instead of installing KXStudio 12.04.03 from the ISO again. Nothing against KDE, I actually have gotten quite used to it, but I just prefer the leaner XFCE and wanted to check out 14.04 with KXStudio repos...
