Re: sfizz
You could use dpf and vestige.h and there shouldn't be any licensing issues with steinberg to worry about.

I was using latest git build from a week ago, you might be using pre1 still maybe.

Re: ALSA To JACK A2JMIDID acting oddly in Muse
I did muse3 -DD to see all the different errors. I'm trying to see where some of my VST's world crash. Thought that might have something to do with it. Ardour seems to handle plugins a bit better, but I really enjoy the MIDI flow in Muse more.

ALSA To JACK A2JMIDID acting oddly in Muse
I'm getting a lot of error's being spit out of stderr in terminal lately when using a2jmidid version 9 from Archlinux. The error is "MidiJackDevice::eventReceived unsupported system event 0xfe" weird and it does this a ton. attached is my output.

Re: New! Comprehensive latency correction / compensation
One thing I don't like about latency compensation right now, has to do with aux sends. If you say have a plugin capable of 32 outs and connect only 2 of 32 of its audio outputs to the audio output track of your choice then you'll get this annoying feedback that just stays held. The only way to stop ...

LV2 has that option but the VST's don't but thanks anyways. I'll use the LV2's.

Re: Surge synth testers wanted, also an LV2 version in the works
The VST Variant crashes the QT5 Based DAW Muse upon adding it to the arranger and the LV2 misbehaves from time to time. Also, the GUI is kind of slow. However, the sounds are awesome. Here are some crash logs from Muse.

Re: AVLinux and ArdourVST
If you export anything to LV2 through Carla though be warned that it will result in a hard crash of Ardour. It works for audio plugins just fine though. Linvst and Linvst3 are the way to go. They have the lowest memory usage and lowest CPU usage of all the bridge variants. They are the DXVK of VST b...

Surge, ADPlug and OPNPlug VST crashes on show GUI
I'm having issues with Surge, ADPlug and OPNPlug crash when clicking show GUI. Also, the LV2 variant of Surge crashed a few times, but didn't when I was logging it, I logged it anyway just to see if there may be some misbehaving combination. Attached is the logs of every plugin/type I tried. As a si...

Re: lmms-vst-full?
Just run lmms it will do things upon launch and you'll see the vestige option once you drag it on to the song canvas. Then you'll go through Vestige's browser and find the x86/32 bit variant of your plugin. I hope you forgo anything Ubuntu 19.10 related though as it seems they will be dropping 32 bi...

Re: Dragonfly Room Reverb - Testers needed
Would be kind of cool if we could model the reverb's space in 3d similar to ambiverb. Would be nice for film composers.

Re: LinVST - working plugs / libraries you use for compatibility (March 2019)
ARIA Player/sforzando sfz player work great if you install corefonts and tahoma via winetricks. Works with linvst or carla bridges and can get down to buffer sizes of 64/128 if you have a recent i5 or ryzen 5 system.
