Re: BackupBand 0.C

Bass Pedals chord mode way of working is absolutly something I should look into and try practice. With this mode It is possible to play songs with multiple scales (keys), and I don't have to know the keys to the song before playing (only the chords to play of course). When I was a child, my family h...

Re: BackupBand 0.C

I read about using one finger chord and thought maybe I can use midi-chord-plugin instead, so I don't have to think about if the chord is Major or minor vile playing. Using my Roland PK 5A and only pushing the "bass note" and get Major or minor automatic correct with the set key. Between e...

Re: BackupBand 0.C

Amazing, great sounding and lots of features. The great documentation also helped me a lot. I got a plan where I can use this with one foot on my foot-controller: If I put a midi-chord-plugin in front of it; I can set the key and then operate it with one foot - so I can concentrate on playing regula...

Re: Guitar-to-MIDI conversion in Rakarrack/Guitarix?

I would not believe it if I didnt try it out. I read on their webpage; under no hardware or tweaking needed (mouse over tekst) "...with a standard audio-interface" How is the Sonuus G2M (witch I believe is midi only) connected to this setup? I think you can use this software without the s...

The key is the software.
Ok, wonder how this work. I think what the software need is an audio-signal to convert to midi and not a hardware monofonic midi-converter, but I know nothing of this software.

Sonuus G2M - Universal Audio to 5pin MIDI Din Converter
Sorry to say it is monophonic MIDI, not polyphonic. I have v1 and read on their webpage that current v3 also is only monophonic.

Re: Site logo

My wish for a font to use is: Lato (Lato Black, bold) in white . A fallback to Arial for older browser. Font with similar properties to Latos was in my mind when I drew by “hand” (as in Inkscape) the poster-letter L and M (no fonts was used in the creation). The letter L could change color, be metal...

Re: Favicon poll!

Just for fun Maybe add additional thin border around M and the square for contrast? Currently it's merging with background. It is a drop-in-edition (with transparency instead of the blue in the favicon) made for example to drop over the site-header, something like this: LMdropinexample.png or this:...

Re: Favicon poll!

Maybe: Yeah I like that! Yes, that looks sharp. If you look at the current site_logo.png the dimensions are 100px x 50px with alpha. If you resized yours to 50px high and knocked out everything that isn't white or black to transparent it should drop in perfectly. Done linux-musican-dropin-50x50.png...

Re: Favicon poll!

I agree with bhilmers and he's first alternative works best with current banner and theme on the site. Mine alternatives would need a complimentary banner to go with them, since they are not matching current theme. I will of course supply that if wanted and edit by hand the smallest icons in bitmap ...
