That's a nice find. A Paraphrasis.jucer file exists, perhaps falkTX can whip up a working Makefile for Linux ?

I'm not really sure how to use this plugin and don't really have that much time to test it.
So let me know how it works.
If it doesn't have that many issues I can add it to distrho-ports-extra, although the amount of dependencies that thing has is a bit much..

Hey, that was quick, thanks a lot ! I checked your binary, it crashed in Bitwig, so I rebuilt it with your git code. I figured out I had to have the sample playing to get the analysis stage to work, otherwise the plugin crashed. I'm still working with it to see what it can do, but the controls work and I've got sound out of it. So far, so good.

Thanks a lot falkTX. I had one crash with it but I can't replicate it and seems to work pretty well overall. You can create some weird sounds with it

danboid is right. So you're completely free to do whatever you want with the source code of HighLife. I've just checked the HighLife disclaimer and it's indeed an old style four clause BSD license.

But it's only one plugin. Is it worth the hassle? Surely, better to do what the author asks, and make it clear why - which is exactly what falkTX has done.
