Hi chaps...
Still looking to get a USB interface... I spotted the UA20's... http://alsa.opensrc.org/ doesn't list it...
Does that mean it's no good? there's loads on ebay for peanuts and would be an awesome starting point till i can afford something better...
but then I liked my FA-66 so also interested in the UA25/25ex cause it's got all the bits i need... and appears to be fully supported in alsa..
My questions are... with the FA-66 in windows I had my speakers hooked up to it and used that to control the sound... would i still be able to do that with the UA25? and as for recording i'm going to use a usb live distro (haven't decided on one yet) will i be able to set it up as such in fedora? or do i need to have the realtime kernal installed for it to work?
Edirol UA20 or 25/25ex

if it's not listed its a gamble. It might work. Might not.
You probably don't need a RT kernel for it, but you'd be better off finding somewhere where someone talks about getting it to work.
