maybe kxstudio should think of applying for funding somewhere... dyne.org seems possibly larger-scale and more than just LAU though

I loved dynebolic II & in its day it had a really great community & in poorer days allowed me to make music on a PIII. It is not so well known now but it was a widely used and respected distro in its time and ahead of its time in being a nomadic system.

Jaromil is a really talented developer and a really nice person to deal with as well, unlike some devs who seem to let attention go to their head & their manners fly out of the window.

Hi,

I wish them the best in this endeavour, Dyne:bolic was totally an inspiration to me for making AV Linux a completely self-contained OS complete with development environment, as English Guy said their nesting feature is still a very cool concept. Although I do disagree with their politics and general assertion that everything non-free is inherently evil I certainly agree anyone doing multimedia on Linux owes Dyne:bolic a respectful tip of the hat for their groundbreaking work..
