So yeah, the past couple of months i switched to Elementary OS to spare myself the pain called win8 and i'm loving it so far In the past i have worked with Fedora 14-16 at school for some courses, but eOS is more my thing

The reason for me coming to this board is problems with my Amplitube 3 > Reaper > M-Audio Fast Track setup, but i will talk about that in the proper section
Let's see... for the music part i'm into everything from smooth jazz to dubstep to deathmetal and grindcore, i'm in a band called Warbeast Remains, and we make thrash/death metal (http://www.warbeastremains.com)
So yeah, read a lot of helpfull stuff on this board and i'm hoping i can keep on learning and start to contribute as well

As an artist you really have the power to make Linux Audio shine. Following some threads on the forums, it seems much needed right now. A good way to start helping out is by making Youtube tutorial video's, sharing killer presets and the likes.
